WSWL Novice & League Tourney(January 31, 2011)
The Western Suburban Wrestling League Novice tournament was held on Saturday, January 29 and the Clifford Haynes Memorial League tournament was held on Sunday, January 30 at Chaparral High School. 16 wrestlers placed in Saturday's Novice tournament with three winning the championship. 29 wrestlers participated in the Clifford Haynes Memorial and 26 of them placed including 8 League Champions.

56th Annual Tulsa Nationals
(January 29, 2011)
Congratulations to the Grandview Wolves Youth Wrestling Team on their first ever team trip to Tulsa Nationals. 31 total wrestlers participated. 23 in the 56th annual Tulsa Nationals Tournament and 8 in the Tulsa Novice Nationals. There were 4 placers in the Nationals and 6 in the Novice Nationals. 9 wrestlers were 1 round away from placing which is no easy feat in brackets that routinely topped 50+ wrestlers, 30+ of which were usually individual state champions in there respected states!!!

The Grandview High School Wolves wrestlers will open the 2011-12 season at home on Thursday, December 1 when they will host the Eaglecrest Raptors. Freshman/Sophomore and JV are scheduled to start at 6 PM. Varsity will follow.

All-City Wrestling Team

The Aurora Sentinel's Courtney Oakes announced the 2010-11 All-City Wrestling Team on April 7. Grandview had two wrestlers selected to the first team. Josh Federico (103) and Sean Burroughs (140). Eric Ruoff (112), Tony Mendieta (119) and Pavlo Ivanusa (189) were named Honorable Mention. (more ->)

The Grandview High School wrestling team will celebrate the 2010-11 season at the annual banquet in the Grandview High School cafeteria at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, March 2.

Grandview senior Josh Federico finished his high school career with a 4th place finish in class 5A at the 76th Annual Colorado State Wrestling Tournament. The team finished in 21st place with 23.5 points. more ->

5 to State
(February 12, 2011)

Grandview competed in Class 5A's Region 2 at Westminster High School on Friday and Saturday, February 11 and 12. The Wolves had 7 wrestlers win the traditional CHSAA ribbon for placing in the top six and the team finished in fifth place. The Wolves had 1 champion, 2 seconds, 1 third, 2 fifths and 1 sixth place finisher. The top four place finishers qualify for the State tournament that begins on Thursday, February 17 at the Pepsi Center. Grandview qualified 5 for State. (more ->)

2011 Regional Tournament

The dual season is over. The bye weekend is gone. And now, the most important part of the 2010-11 season and the final two weekends is here. Grandview is in Region 2 at Westminster High School. Matches are scheduled to begin on Friday, February 11 at 1:00 PM. (more->)
