Wolves Win at Smoky

Grandview made the short trip to Smoky Hill on Friday, January 9 and won their third Centennial League dual of the season, 62-12.

Smoky Hill continues to improve as they put a wrestler on the mat at all fourteen weight classes.  The dual started at the 140 pound weight class. Grandview got off to a quick start with wins by decision at 140, 145 and 152 but Smoky Hill quickly surpassed those nine points with pins at 160 and 171 to take the lead, 12-9.  But, that would be all for Smoky.  The Wolves Greg George got the first win by fall at 189 and all of the reamining matches were won by Grandview by fall with the exception of one tech fall.
