defined as wrestlers who have never wrestled in a folkstyle or
freestyle tournament. By
this definition, a wrestler may have wrestled all last year with
a club but never attended any tournaments so he/she would be
eligible to compete in WSWL Novice designated tournaments.
Entry Fee: $12
for League Members with Proof of Insurance Card
$20 for League Members without
Proof of Insurance Card
$20 for Non-League Members
Mandatory! Wrestlers must
weigh-in wearing singlet!
WSWL Tournament request
forms were distributed at the August 2003 league meeting and will be
submitted at the September meeting and should be finalized following
the October meeting.

wrestlers who competed in the 2004 WSWL League Tournament and their
Coaches. A special thanks to the parents who volunteered their time
to work registration/weigh-ins and two and a half scoring tables
throughout the tournament. The combined effort of all involved is
something to be proud of.
The tournament began with the Parade of Clubs at
9:00 AM. WSWL is fortunate to have High School Referee's to
officiate each weekend's tournament. Each year the official's
nominate and select an outstanding wrestler for the season and present a
trophy to the winner at the league tournament. One of this year's
nominee's was Grandview's Michael Gomness. The award was presented
to 12 & Under, 90 pounder, Travis Rios from Tiger's.
